Hi, your son is prob. fine, there is different eruption patterns in children. Though some children erupt teeth in the same pattern as other children, there are always variations. Each child is different and as such primary teeth may erupt totally out of pattern compared to other children. I would not worry about it right now he still has about two years until he gets a full set (usually 20) of baby teeth. Just make sure that you are keeping the teeth that he has clean. No toothpaste at this age a wet child's toothbrush or piece of wet gauze works fine. A small toothbrush can be a great thing when they are teething, as they chew on the bristles and this helps the teeth push through the gum tissue.

while i agree with perioligament's answer, it is very odd for the upper canines to erupt before the incisors. i would definitely have a pedodontist take xrays to evaluate your child.
