Will I gain weight if I stay below my basal calorie intake, but eat junk?

Question:
I am a health nut. I eat mainly healthy food and work out religiously. For a while now, I have concentrated on cutting out most fats. However, lately I have been missing food with actual taste. I have been wondering of late, what if I included some of the higher fat foods that I like (such as ice cream and some junk food) into my diet, yet stayed at or below my basal calorie requirement for the day, how would that affect my weight? Throwing out a crazy scenario like say my required calories to maintain per day was 2000; what if i ate nothing but ice cream all day, loaded with fat, but I only took in a total of 1900 calories with that ice cream? would i still maintain, or would i gain? Any nutritionist out there that knows the answer for certain? Crazy example i know, but just curious. And please no advice on moderation etc. This question is purely out of curiousity on how such a thing would affect weight. Thanks so much.

Answers:
No, but you'll die prematurely, malnurished but skinny.

yes

You could do that, but you would become malnutritioned, and you'd be hungry all of the time. A bit of junk food added to a healthy diet will not hurt you! Oh, yeah, and you'd hurt your heart, and all of your muscle would turn into fat.

All that matters is total calories. But don't fool youself. A little junk food has a lot of calories, so you'll probably get hungry and eat more junk. Fruit and veges have few calories and fill you up so you don't overeat like you do with junk food.

You will not gain weight if you keep below your basal calorie intake whatever you eat.
Now you know this you can eat what you like, as long as it is a normal, healthy, balanced diet. For reliable advice about diet and nurition look here:

I believe you can avoid it. I can avoid it by balancing it: if I eat a hamburger and a bunch of grapes above it.nothing bad will happen.they' l wash that burger out and the belly will consume the energy it got from burger to consume the grapes (or cereal or other fiber rich meal) consuming fiber rich food takes energy.

As long as you keep your calories in check, you won't gain weight. Just keep in mind that 2000 calories of ice cream isn't going to keep you very full and satisfied for nearly as long as 2000 calories of healthy food with lots of fiber. You get more bang for your buck with healthy food. No one ever eats 2000 calories worth of broccoli!
