i am sorry my friend. it looks as though youve recieved some good advice. i see that you are a Christian, so please do not rule out spititual healing. I am a Registered Nurse and have seen healing. I also know Macular Degeneration to be a progressive disease.
you are in my prayers.
There is a phenominal series on healing at this website you can get for like under 20 bucks. i would recommend "why people fail to recieve their healing."
i just heard it recently, was very impressed, and sent a copy to my mom.
good luck to you my friend, i know the Lord wants you well.

depends on whether you have the wet or dry version. The dry is correctable but the wet will just get worse. If you're in the early stages it would be a good idea to learn braile. My Grandmother was diagnosed 3 years ago and has no center vision now. Get in touch with your local commision for the blind and depending on how old you are, you can apply for disability.
what ? what ever that is no
Unfortunatly there is no cure for macular degeneration. Your eye sight will never improve, but there are treatments that can slow the effects of this disease.
Sadly, my mother has this disease as well.
I have listed some different links that may be helpful for you.
