i am a little depressed these days and cannot have a good sleep ,any drug can rescue me?

Question:
i want some antianxiety medicines what do u recommend

Answers:
Please do NOT take any anti depressants or anything! A friend of mine committed suicide while on it.
No medication is good for you. There are so many side effects that will just cause other problems. Now a days they have a little pill for EVERYTHING and it's disgusting. These so-called medications don't cure or solve the problem.they hide it till it removes the lining in your stomach.
For your anxiety/depression, try to find out what it is that is causing stress right now and try to solve the problem. Also, try meditating. Go in your bedroom by yourself, lye down and light a candle or put a little soft light on. Close your eyes and try to think about nothing. Imagine yourself sinking, like your body is weightless and you are floating down. Within minutes you'll be out and you won't wake up till the next day.so it might be better that you don't light a candle. You should also make sure that it is quiet, or listen to calming music (lightly). Try this and I promise you it will work.
And remember that EVERYONE feels like this in some time of their life and it is natural. I hate it how everything now has to be diagnosed a name and how there is a pill for all your problems. I don't believe that anyone is "depressed" or has "ADD" it's all crap. Everyone has a little of everything.it's just about how strong of a person you are and how you handle your problems.

i recommend seeing a psychiatrist

maybe an ssri like zoloft

If you are wanting just a good night sleep, try Tylenol pm. If you are having other issues my suggestion is see a doctor.

I suggest that you maybe speak to your doctor and address any stress factors in your life that maybe causing you sleep deprivation. There is a product called Nytol which is a sleep aid. You take one one the first night then two if needed the next. However, you are only supposed to use it for up to seven days.

St Johns Wort, natural and proven. Excersise too.

All the best.

I would recommend you see your Doctor about it. There are several medications that would help you. Only the Doc can decide what is right for you and legally give them to you.

i strongly recommend DONT take drugs for getting good sleep.u may sleep forever then(dead,i mmean.).they hav horrible side affects.try meditation, have a glass of milk, eat properly, thats all.

Definitely talk to a doctor, but also try a nutritionist. Exercise and good nutrition can improve many ailments to the point of not needing medication.

no drugs are not only way to loose depression or sleep there is another way is to do yoga(to loose depression) , or take a walk (30 mins)in evening after dinner and before sleep it may help us most

well that's a question you will have to discuss with your Dr. but personally lexapro is a good anti-anxiety anti-depressant but they take up to 3-4 weeks for any noticeable effect for immediate relief of sleeplessness ask for lunesta or Tylenol pm or Excedrin pm work well

try this first.. go make urself felling good by..go for new haircut..change hair colour. go for facial..be it men or lady..take a long bath while lighting up lavender scented candles..and lastly.hug urself and say" you are strong and deserve to be happy and say to urself repeatedly.life is short."

Remember this.one day u will look back and realised that there is someone or people out there facing worse problems than u.. Be gratefull.cheers.

I suggest NO drugs to get sleep. just alot of exercise and a good shower afterwards. it will make you feel like a million bucks.

Even I went through this sleeping pills are habbit forming, after dinner go for a brisk walk, eat mango before sleep or try hot milk, avoid drugs as long as u can they all have side effects,if u believe in GOD do prey & ask for help.

come to see me, it may help you

Exercise more.

I asked a similar question and here was the answer I found most helpful. I give the credit to nightevisions. Hope it helps you too.

It helps to have a relaxing routine before bed. Do something calming. Whatever that might be for you. a warm bath, a hot cup of tea, reading a book.

If you lie there awake when you go to bed, occupy your mind in a non distressing way. Recite a childhood fairytale such as the 3 Bears. and when your mind starts to wander to everyday worries, pull it firmly back to the story. you'll fall asleep before you get past the porridge!
