My brother is addicted to smoking pot. How can I make him stop?

Question:

Answers:
As long as it doesn't intefere with his life or his ability to be a cool brother, you don't have to do anything. When he stops being cool, telling your parents or some authoritative figure may be a good start. You can try talking to him that he's wasting his life on pot and if he cares even a bit for you he would stop.

Other Answers:
hit him with a shovel that should work.

if he doens't want to stop he won't u have to talk to him he have the choices

Tie yourself to him, never leave his side, and when he picks up a joint, smack it out of his hands.

They say addicts can only clean up if they want to. That's BS! How can you trust an addict to make a rational decision like that? Chris Farley would still be with us today if the people around him actually cared. and yes, Pot Smokers are Addicts!

It would depend on his age and his built up dependancy to the drug
if he is younger look for signs of use,and disipline him
if he is older try to reason with him, or if that fails get your family involved and have him placed in rehab

my own experience

give him a ash box as a gift.(sarcastically).it would have an strong effect

Turn him into the police. He will stop then.

Guaranteed way of making anyone stop smoking pot/cigarettes/cigar/pipe..r. the ability to get your hands on said addiction if you put small hair trimmings in the bag of weed or the pack of cigs when he inhales that nasty burning hair will be forever etched in his mind..don't get caught may require several attempts.
