Each woman would probably feel a little different. I don't think there is a right or wrong way to feel, nor is there a guideline for who will feel what.

she hurt physically and emotionally because the process of having something sucked out of you hurts like hell and even if you don't want the baby for what ever reason it is still a life that is a part of you a life that you take and you feel bad. so protect your self and don't get pregnant if you don't want the baby it's not worth it.

Back in 1994, I got an abortion. I all ready had a son of 5 months with cancer and was very scared that the child would not be "normal" like other kids. It been a long time since then, live changes and I still think it was the best descision I made.

she should feel horible and ashamed of what she has done to a child if u cant own up to responsilblity of being a parent dont have sex or at least protect your self

To answer the question because I have counseled a few women who have years before had an abortion and there is no one specific answer. The way a woman feels all depends on the reasons behind their taking this action as well as the age it happened in their life. Some are very depressed and feel they have this loss that will never be filled and some go on through life feeling as though what they did was right and in the best interest of either themselves or the child. There are many reasons people have abortions, one of which would be the pregnancy is life threatening to the mother. So many are so quick to judge without knowing the full details. Then again, some just have a huge chip on their shoulder that they need to find someone else to take it out on!

I've never been pregnant, nor have I had an abortion, but I imagine that they would feel bad and regretful. Unless the were a cold-hearted person and just wanted to get rid of the kid any way possible.
