Does professional eyebrow waxing hurt?

For my birthday this year (April 27), I'm considering not only getting a facial but an eyebrow wax too (done by a professional in a beauty salon). Do they hurt? I heard that they do.

eyebrows and facial didnt hurt for me, i barely remember the amount of pain i felt. i thought it was really going to hurt, and i had my eyes closed tight and everything, and i felt a little pull on my skin and it was done.

yes.but only for a few seconds, your eyes tear up and then after your eyebows get real puffy. they go down after a little while though, i think its the only way to go because it hurts less than plucking and they dont grow back no where near as fast

I am an eyebrow waxing addict. It hurts, but it's not prolonged pain like when you're plucking. Plus it gets all the little, thin hairs that you often miss. Just don't tweeze for a couple weeks before you go, so the wax has something to grab on to.

Just a little bit.. it might sting a little bit too, and your skin by your brows are gonna be red..but i'd say its worth it.

The first time I had it done it did. Now I´m used to it. but believe me, you´ll be happy with the results and won´t care about the pain.
