Combat the sun's harmful UV rays by ritualistically applying a sunblock with a SPF of 30 or higher. Skin cancer is on the rise throughout the world in part because of the naturally occurring and or man made (the debate rages amongst the scientific community) but happening none-the-less, thinning of the Earth's protective ozone layer.

Drink about 64 oz of pure non-fluoridated water each day. One rule of thumb is to divide your current weight in half and drink that number of ounces per day. The best time to repair and renew facial skin cells is while you are sleeping. Each evening before you go to bed, cleanse your face with a simple natural cleanser such as powdered oats and powdered rose buds. Mist your face with a cold floral hydrolate such as rose. Place a few drops of a concentrated facial serum (or elixir) in the palms of your hands and gently massage your entire face. A good facial elixir will soothe dry delicate skin, encourage moisture retention and provide protection from the elements. It will also help to diminish fine lines and promote healthy glowing skin.

Wear sunscreen. This will definantly help reduce signs of aging. Also, if you smoke, do stop. That alone would do a great deal--as well as be beneficial to your over all health. Eat a healthy diet and get plenty of sleep.

Sounds obvious, but most people don't think about it.

You may not believe this, but actors/actresses have a little secret for fine lines and wrinkles you may have never heard of.

VERY INEXPENSIVE. Try rubbing a dab of Preparation H on the lines, The ingredient that shrinks the swelling in hemoroids also smoothes fine lines. SHHH don't tell anyone the secret.

I also use microderm abrasion (Loreal) you can find it in any drug store. It's also fairly inexpensive.

You'll be amazed at what your skin looks like after just one application of these two procedures.
Tip: Use the microderm abrasion first. Apply the prep h just before you put on your makeup.
Good luck!
