The bad breath? It could be any number of things-teeth?stomach issues? infection?, etc., etc., etc.

It is probably the diet you have him on that may be upsetting his belly. As far as the bad breath goes. how would your breath be if you didnt brush them everyday? There are bones on the market that helps freshen breath and helps the teeth. I personally use a product for my dog, called yipyaps. These work wonders! You can buy them at Petgo or any animal supply store. Hey they even sell them for cats! They really take the bad breath away!
