What could be causing my jaw and mouth muscle aches and tiredness?

Question:
My problem has persisted for over a month now. My jaw seems totally tired all the time accompanied by a dull ache, and other muscles such as cheek muscles and a muscle on the floor of my mouth under my tongue are affected. Any possible solutions or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Answers:
Have you been stressed out more than normal? When stressed, people sometimes clench their jaw without noticeing it.

Other Answers:
You may be a nocturnal teeth grinder. See your dentist about a mouth piece.

Do you chew a lot of gum? If not, there are people who clench their jaws and grind their teeth in their sleep. If you are afflicted with this problem, it could create the aches and pains you have described.

Sounds like you have a "TMJ"disorder.

its the meth baby. just say no!

Maybe you are clenching your teeth in your sleep. There is
n't the same kind of damage as there is from grinding teeth but it will make your jaw tired and sore. Some physiotherapists can help with jaw massage.
