my breast was sore but wasn't pregnant what was the cause of it?

Question:

Answers:
This can be caused by hormonal changes or inbalances for example shortly before you get your period. Usually, it's nothing serious, but if you're not sure it's probably better to see a doctor.

Other Answers:
Probably just progesterone. After ovulation a woman's progesterone level rises which can cause almost the same symptoms as pregnancy (sore boobs, nausea, cramps, etc). If it isn't that I have no idea.

hormone levels before or during your period

It was or it is? Did the soreness go away? Are you an adult or a teen? Did you ask the doctor when you had the pregnancy test or did you even go to a doctor?

I'm really sorry, but your question does not have enough information in it to give you an accurate answer. You can click on ADD Details and give more info if you like otherwise I would suggest seeing a gynecologist.

well it was probably just the aftermath of your period
