Question:
Staurday night I was up ALL night drinking, I was to the point of passing out when my boss called me. He needed a post filled this morning. I said yes. I passed out during my shift. Should I have been allowed to work in my condition that I was in?

Interesting phrasing. You make it sound as if this wasn't your very own fault. Did your boss know you were drunk as a skunk? Did you tell him? Did you say yes when he asked you to come to work?
No, you shouldn't have been allowed to work. But it actually is your fault for going there. If something had happened, it would be your fault for being too dumb to say you can't work.
I just hope you don't have any kind of responsible job (nor a car).

Did your boss know that you had a rough night? If so then no he shouldnt have let you work. If he didnt then you used your own judgement to go to work or not. I would have said hell no. find someone else. :)

No

No, I would have called in, and have been brutally honest with him. Next time, ask him if he wants you puking in a bucket the whole time while you're on the clock. I think not. ;-)
