I'd like more information about you. How old are you? Are you male or female? What kind of shape are you in? Are you slender, average, fat, morbidly obese?

If you've been diagnosed with panic attacks, I'm assuming that you've had your heart worked up.

If you have a clean bill of health and are in okay physical shape, I'd like you to try something (pet theory of mine). I'd like you to go and try and do something really scarey. Like going sky-diving or bungee jumping.

A pet theory of mine (which I haven't been able to test) is that panic attacks in healthy people are caused by the fact that we now live in a society where we are commonly told to fear thousands of things. without ever being exposed to blatantly dangerous/fearful stimuli.

Let's face it, TV and the media are constantly warning us of dangers. I think it's perfectly natural to end up jumping at shadows.

My theory is this: you need to re-set your sense of fear. Do something that seems horribly dangerous (yet isn't). something that will scare the beejeebies out of you. After that, your normal fears and stressors will seem much less.

Please let me know how it turns out!

have you been going through any hard times or stress lately? Try taking time out of your day and relaxing. Also, before you go to bed, try reading something that you like to set your mind at ease. If you're still having problems, I would advise a doctor visit.

sounds like high anxiety. I'd seriously see a doctor.

First find out what the triger[either what you were doing or where you were]is. think real hard on this one as it may be key. I suffer from panic attacks myself and they are usually brought on by stress. If this advice does not help seek out a good therepist he or she will be able to diagnose your problem and possibly put you on the right kind of medication.Ihope this is helpful.

go to a shrink
