Question:
* Trichomonas *
MY G/F RECENTLY GAVE BIRTH & WAS DIAGNOSED WITH Trichomonas. THE LAST TIME THAT WE HD SEX WAS 08/05. DO THEY TEST FOR THINGS LIKE THAT TROUGHOUT THE PREGNANCY? THE DR. TOLD HER TODAY, 10 MONS AFTER WE LAST HAD SEX. I DONT THINK I GAVE IT TO HER. NO ONE ELSE CAME UP WITH IT (I HAVE BEEN HAVING UNPROTECTED SEX WITH 1 OTHER PERSON). BEFORE U SAY IT, I KNOW I NEED TO GO TO THE DR. I HAVE AN APPOINTMENT NEXT WEEK! CAN I STILL HAVE IT WITHOUT KNOWING & NO SYMPTOMS FOR SO LONG, AND WITHOUT PASSING IT TO SOME1 ELSE?
BY THE WAY, THE BABY IS FINE ! ~BUT I HAVE DOUBTS ABOUT ME BEING THE FATHER NOW.~

Answers:
Trichomoniasis is a sexually transmitted disease but i think it has not been transmitted by you.

Other Answers:
Yes, men can be infected with, and transmit, trich, without any symptoms.

If you doubt your paternity, get a DNA test.

Trich is the least of YOUR problems.
You both need to get treated at the same time by taking pills.That way you don't keep giving it to each other.No real symptoms for man,so you probably DID spread it to that other person.
Man.use condoms from now on so you won't have to ask these stupid questions.

If you will look this up you will find out that what you are asking about is not a STD. I was told It is a form of female problem that some females get that they may not have children.

look up the words in the medical

yes go to the doctor dont be embarressed.go

Trich can be treated , dont worry about it just go and get treated . But if you didnt give it to her maybe your real problem is infidelity, not std's.

I DON'T WANT TO SOUND LIKE A DOWNER BUT WHEN A WOMAN GETS PREGNATE THE FIRST THING THEY DO BESIDES BLOOD WORK IS TEST HER FOR STD'S SO SHE DOES NOT GIVE THEM TO THE CHILD OR SO SHE DOES NOT HAVE COMPLICATIONS WITH THE PREGNANCY..IF YOU HAVE DOUBTS DON'T HESITATE JUST ASK..ITS BETTER TO KNOW AND IF SHE DOES NOT WANT TO TELL YOU. YOU ALWAYS HAVE THE OPTION OF HAVE A DNA TEST. BUT YOU COULD HAVE HAD THIS WITHOUT KNOWING.SO MAKE SURE YOU KNOW YOU ARE FREE OF ANY STD BEFORE CONFRONTING HER.

Oh yes. All std's are contagious, and may not always show up until later. I would go to the doctor right away.
