What is the exact cause of sexual loss of desire.?

Question:

Answers:
There could be many causes, including depression, hormone imbalance, medication, physical pain, an inconsiderate partner, no attraction for the partner, past sexual abuse, exhaustion, infections, endometriosis, etc. You should have a physical exam, and if all things are normal, consider a psychological exam to determine the exact cause.

Other Answers:
Low testosterone levels.the causes of that are numerous.

For men it's usually stress, and if the "problem" is focused on. it gets worse.

1. Reassure him it's ok

2. "fool" around with him, letting him know, "it doesnt have to be about intercourse" "It's ok" "lets just play"

Could be weight or health also.

3. If it's weight. A "night of jogging" could make a big difference. Just enough to "open" up the blood flow.

It WILL get BETTER again. Don't worry.

Communication and reassurance is the key.

If your a woman. I don't know.

I agree with Donna M. Add stress, depression and poor diet. There is no exact cause of libido loss. It could be variety of things. I would consider a visit to your doctor to rule out anything physical. Also consider a visit to a psychologist. Something could be going on in your life that you may have forgotten about. Anything going on psychologically can be a killer on your libido.

There is no shame in seeking help. Bring your partner along for visits. The 2 of you can work things out and it does get better. Good luck
