Practice meditation. Its the best way to get away from stress in long run

you press against your head really hard, take a hot shower or get a nap

I talk to my sister about my problems. Sometimes i will just sleep it off. Or if i feel like screaming my head off because of stress, i will go outside and fume/scream in a private place.

well i told a friend who was really stressed & frustrated ust the other day that i relieve it by punching hard solid objects, like bricks & rocks. he did do it, it relieved stress, but he broke his hand, & THE ROCK!

But seriously, there are hundreds of ways. An excellent one is meditation. Rent a couple of really good movies and forget your troubles for awhile. Get absorbed in a good book, even one you've read before. Have your honey give you a back rub. Have your honey give you a front rub. You get the idea.

yoga

Sex and / or mastur-bation are proven ways to greatly reduce stress.

Both get your mind totally off of what you are stressed out about, and leave you with good feelings due to the endorphins that are released during and before orgasm.

Another excelent way to releive stress, is to talk about what is bothering you. to "get it of your chest" so to speak. BUT be careful not to get your self all riled up when talking about it, because this can increase the stress. Talk calmly to someone about whats bothering you.

Something not mentioned is a pet. Petting my dog is a way to relieve stress and lower the blood pressure.
