ok im black and i've got long thick hair, i perm my hair, and grease it i deep condition it. but i think you should try laying off the perms if u get them and just from now on wash and deep condition it, meaning: put alot of conditioner in it let it sit for 15 min or longer however long u want, comb it through put a cap over yur head let it sit, and then wash it out and blow dry is best if u let it dry on its on, when its dry press it. and if u can tkae some vitimens find a vitimen for nail and hair in k -mart wal-mart a drug store, and the best shampoo and conditioner to use is motions or dark and lovely, and Silk Elements. good luck and trty going to the salon every 2 weeks if u can to grt it washd and pressd it will help your hair grow.
