I get really stressed alot and I dont know how to control it my friends give me alot of advice its not working

get fresh air take a deep breath and exhale. do this several times and then you will see the difference the clean oxygen will enter you body and clean your entire system. listen to soft music but not sad music. go to the park and relax for a few moment listening to the birds. focus on the distance of the sky and its unlimitedness you will be relaxed. walk and enjoy the fresh air.

Everyone get's stressed. If the advice your friends are giving you isn't working then maybe you should try a professional approach. Stress may also be a medical issue that needs medication and there is NOTHING wrong with that. I hate psychologists as much as the next person but at least go to your pysician and let him/her know what's going on so they can look into it.

I've had the same problem. I eventually started taking a 1mg Xanax twice a day and have never felt better. Have you ever thought about seeing a doctor about your problem?

FYI - Xanax is a pretty good medication if you aren't prone to addictive, abusive behavior with strong medications.

what you need to do is take a day our for nobody but yourself. pamper yourself once a week. you need to make sure that you take care of yourself before anything else cuz u are your num. one priority

i get stressed too sometimes between working 40 hours a week, six kids, husband and all the activities they are in plus i am in. The doctor finally put on Zoloft for the stress and it helps, I also exercise a whole lot and eat right, and when it is too much have a drink or two to relieve stress, sometimes it is good to cry or go outside and yell or whatever you have to do to relieve some stress. I do quite alot of things to relieve stress. You just have to find the best solution for you

This is only advise based on my experience. I have inherited serious stress and temper, and as a child would often have these problems, up until I was 18.

Exercise is a key, it can really take care of stress. A good hard walk or light jog for 20-30 minutes, at least five times a week.

Don't worry about tomorrow, just focus on today's duties.

Help other people in areas you are good at!

I found the answer also in praying and claiming God's promises.

If you think you are bad, don't worry, God loves to help bad people, the Bible says so.

You don't need a sermon, just say 'help me'.

The worse thing you will do to yourself if you keep this up is that you will have a heart attack by the time you are forty. Kinesiology is great, they get to the heart of matters, i.e. why you are stressed, in a matter of two hours. Do not go to a doctor and get pills and potions, they only mask the problem and do not solve the real issues at hand. All the best, and try wearing some lighter blue colours, this will also help in calming. And stay away from stressful people and places that stress you out.
