same thing.
Caused by excessive amounts of penecillin or other synthetic meds and man made sugars and bleaches.
Eat more buttermilk, yogurt, sour cream, cream cheese.
Drop any white bread (yeast booster).
Yeast clogs pancreas, then intestines, kicks up insilin because it thinks you're starving, and stores fat, clogs veins, and many other health issues.

I think it definitely has to do with poor quality of food. I also think that it has to do with our sedentary lifestyle. We have evolved into a truly lazy society. We sit in a car on our way to desk jobs that we sit at 8 hours a day, then come home and watch tv, play video games, maybe do a little net surfing and then go to bed. We eat way too much (i.e. ridiculously large poritions in restaraunts and fast food places) and we don't do ANYTHING to burn it off. We don't go out and wash our cars -- we have car washes for that. Hell, we've invented riding lawn mowers, roombas (robotic vacuums), anything to keep us from having to get off our asses and DO something.
can you supersize that question please?
I think so. Now a days we eat over processed foods. I think if we would go back to organic foods we wouldnt be putting the weight on, less carlories, fat, etc.

There has been a drastic increase of carbs(carbohydrates) in our diets which if not metabolized turn to fat. I saw a graph and carb intake has doubled plus some since the 1950's. So carbs are the enemy to some extent because you still need some. Also Americans as a society do not do enough physical activity, not even close. Ever felt winded after a flight of stairs? My point. Heck, here we are sitting on the computer highlighting my point.

Yes, it has become worse in the last decade, so that now the amount of overweight people has risen to over 60%. There are certain things contained in processed foods that are supposed to "addict" you to certain foods, or that make it harder for our bodies to burn. I believe that is why other countries refuse food from the US because they don't want their people to be unhealthy and overweight. That is why diets don't work b/c the FDA is a billion dollar business and they don't want people to stop buying and trying to lose weight with their products.
Try to stay away from packaged foods, eat lots of fruits, vegetables, natural grain foods, etc. There's nothing wrong with a moderate amount of sugar, but try to keep it simple (eg: 1 cup of breyers ice cream, a piece of chocolate). Drink plenty of water too.
All in all, be careful of foods where there's a lot of chemicals you have no clue as to what it is in the first five ingredients. It's most likely not something that's good for you.
I personally attribute it to the me-me generation, I've from a different generation (im over 35) and i've never been over a size 9, weight has never been a issue. The younger generation seems to think nothing is off limit, they seem to be running on one premise me me me. My generation wasnt afforded the luxury of having everything we saw, and I think this has a lot to do with the body sizes we see now, as well as the soaring drug addictions and life threatening stds.just my opinion
