Clove oil or putting clove on the tooth that hurts and bite into it helps.

warm salt water. put a teaspoonof salt in a warm cup of water and gargle with it. works like a charm.
Not Vodka. I took 7 shots hoping to numb the pain and all it did was turn me into a drunk with a bad toothache.
Clove oil is the best of all you can get from pharmacy if its too far then a little Vodka on a Johnson bud well dipped and put it on yr tooth Voila ! its gone
One can keep mashed ginger on the affected teeth and swallow the juice or else boil good quantity of leaves of guvava(fruit)in water till it turns milky and use the same as mouth wash.
