Whaty is PMS?

Question:
I babysit so this little girl asks me what is PMS. She said that her mom talked about it on the phone. What should I say to the girl?

Answers:
Say to her calmly that PMS is when a young lady is having "her time of the month" She sometimes gets PMS which means that she is moody and very mean.

Other Answers:
You should tell her to ask her mom. Her mom might want to be the one who wants to tell her.

PMS is a disorder characterized by a set of hormonal changes that trigger disruptive symptoms in a significant number of women for up to two weeks prior to menstruation. Of the estimated 40 million suffers, more than 5 million require medical treatment for marked mood and behavioral changes. Often symptoms tend to taper off with menstruation and women remain symptom-free until the two weeks or so prior to the next menstrual period. These regularly recurring symptoms from ovulation until menses typify PMS, premenstrual syndrome.

So either her mom should tell her or u ask her mom what to say:)

2 ask her mother

Just say that you don't know, plain and simple. This was you are not doing anything that her mom doesn't want you to do.
Just remember, it is not your responsibility to teach her about that stuff, it is her parent's. If they want her to know, they will tell her if she asks them, the best thing for you to do is go about doing your job and not getting "too involved"

Tell her to ask her mom and if I where you I would tell her mom she ask you.

PMS stands for "Packing My Suitcase"!!
