It works well for some people but not others. Everyone's skin is different. However, you can get basically the same results as proactiv by just using a good cleanser, toner, 2.5% benzoyl peroxide cream, and moisturizer. All of which can be purchased at your drugstore.

Both my daughters tried it and it didnt work for them. One of them now uses the acne system by Murad, it is working great for her.
