Do people waking from coma after a traumatic brain injury love their partner as before the accident ?

Question: Hi i need your help does anyone know how those who have been involved in a traumatic brain injury react during awakening;do they still preserve their feelings of love and passion or are they apathetic with family and lovers;pls im in a real dilemma as my boyfriend is in a coma for more than 1 month and i wish he would wake and feel the same about me

sweetie, if he loved you once, my guess is he will love you again. now if he had amnesia.that would be different. then who would know.however, you said a coma, correct? he should be able to hear you in a coma. therefore he knows you're his significant other by what you're saying i would guess.

if they loved you and remember you yes, their feelings will be the same. If they do not remember you then the same endearing things about you will allow them to fall in love with you again.
