Don't flavor it. Our bodies have specific taste buds in our throat that taste pure water. After a few days of drinking water, you will learn to appreciate that flavor. And as other answerers said, the temperature of the water will make a difference. Some people like it ice-cold, some like it tepid. If you want to buy water to get the purest, some brands you might like are Dansani and Pellegrino, they have some natural minerals in them, which make them taste both pure and flavorful.

pick up a filter, even a cheep Britta or Pur filter will take all the nasty taste and crap out of tap water and it will be good again.
You can add those Crystal Light packets to your water, they're sugar -free. I find that my water goes down better when it's not ice cold. I drink a lot faster when it's just cool not cold.

I don't like the taste of water either, but I picked up some Dasani flavored water (strawberry is my favorite) and I love it.
you might had a bad experience with water so try to ignore it, and ask somebody if you need to loose weight, because you females are freaks on that subject

Drink it REALLY cold--I fill my bottles halfway and freeze them, and then top them off with fresh water and they stay cold all day inside an insulated sleeve.
Add some lemon or lime juice. Personally I HATE fruit juice in my water but some like it. There are new waters you can buy which are fruit flavored too.
Don't try to drink a whole bottle at once. Just sip constantly. You should be able to get down at least 8 oz an hour.
