Grandmother

throw it back of your mouth

Drink some water and throw the pill in the back of your throat

a spoon full of sugar makes the medicine go down, the medicine go down

I think swallowing them with milk is the best way. It is a little smoother than water. It coats the pill better making it a little bit easier to swallow.

water

Smoosh it between two spoons add a dab of sugar and water and swallow (assuming it is a tablet type) taking it with applesause is another good way, take a tablespoon of applesause with pill in it and swallow all at once.

drink something first, then swallow with water

Try washing it down with a strong drink, like grape juice (it works for me).

Just throw all the pills with one hand into your mouth and bring a glass of water up to your mouth with the other hand and gulp 'em down. If that don't work, I can grease up an Ewald tube (about the size of a garden hose), shove it down your throat into your stomach and put them in through it. LOL

With lots of water

I usually chew up a mouthful of food and then throw the pills in when I'm ready to swallow. I've been told that vitamins absorb better when taken with food.
