I believe in the Lord and Jesus and In God. I asked them to let me be 6 foot 3. Why am I not?

I'm only 5'10.5"
I prayed to the Lord to please let me be that height. How come he didn't help me?

he might not have answered your prayers right now, but you should know that HE MIGHT NOT COME WHEN YOU WANT HIM BUT HE'LL BE THERE RIGHT ON TIME.
you must not give up you have to have faith, i suggest you continue to pray and believe that he is going to answer.
Its when u least expect it that he steps in and grant you whatever you ask for.

i dont think that he would do that. he made you a certain height and thats the height he wants you to be. thats the way GOD made you and he expects you to be happy with yourself and appreciate your physical appearance.
The height you are going to be is Genetic, praying to God will not make you grow.. !

God gives you what you need, not necessarily what you want.
But, if it makes you feel better, here where I am from (Puerto Rico) the average height of a man is 5'5 to 5'6. So you are already a giant in my country!

God only answers real prayers. If you ask him to make you safe, he will. Stupid things like asking him to help you beat a video game don't work. height just depends on time.
Hmmm. A careful answer is needed here, some will consider this question as trivial, but nothin about prayin to our Lord, is trivial. The way I believe, God, cares about everything, about us. Everything, means everything, Right? I mean, if it meant some things, it would be called some things, Right?

GOD isnt a magic genie who gives everyone what they want.Man isnt perfect.since there was sin man flead from perfection.Sometimes when we dont get what we want it opens our eyes to things that people usually dont see or understand.Sometimes this strengthens us.Be happy after this life we get diffrent bodies. Keep praying and try looking into options on whats out there to possibly help you get taller.You should always pray anyways.Talk to doctors and do some research,you might find something interesting.Remember there are people who live there lives much shorter than you.Be happy you have both legs and try not to live your life just conserned with yourself. Our desires are not always what the Lord has in mind for us. and perfection is relative in the eyes of man anyway. What you think is perfect, 6' 3", isn't always what other people percieve as perfect. I happen to think that 5' 8" is the perfect height for a man. because my hubby is. :)
Someday you will find someone who knows that 5' 10" is perfect, too. ;)
God hears and answers all our prayers. The answer might not be what we want, but we are always given the blessing that he sees that we are in need of. Your height does not make you any better or any worse than any other person. It is the right choices we make in this life that make us stand tall.

God makes you the way he intends for you to be. Most people would like to look like something or someone they aren't but it is not up to them to decide. You need to accept your height and make healthy decisions for your body that can improve your look such as weight, muscle tone, etc. We really have no control over height.
Remember, you are the way you are, for a reason. Don't doubt God or be mad. It will not help your situation. You can pray to God to help you with this and explain your feelings but don't forget to thank him for all of the great things about you that you have and what he has done for you. You are not handicapped by being 5'10". Some people are midgets and they have to live with it. Which is more unfair? Plus some people are tall who would like to be a s little shorter. So do not fret over something like this. Be positive and accept all the blessing that God gives you daily. No one is perfect or as perfect as they would like to be. I wish that I were taller, but I can't do anything about it and I have to live with it. It is petty to dwell on it. If you feel this way because of not being able to play a sport or model or something like that, then don't worry, you still can do those things. That is not impossible. Your talent and beauty and effort can hellp you achieve those things. Height really is not that important if you look at all the other things that could really be wrong with you. Just play the cards you have been dealt and try to overcome this dissatisfaction with your height by focusing on positive things. Good luck with accepting yourself. You can do it!! :)
