Do you think Abercrombie anf Fitch is way over priced?

Question:
I do. I got a shirt with thier tag on it and it was crap! It's so thin you have to carefully put it on so you don't strech it out. Just go to American Eagle or Hollister! I saw a short sleeved zip up hoodie for 60 BUCKS! A skirt were 60 to. It's ridiculouse! Also---I walked into an Abercrombie and Fitch and everything was either navy blue, gray, black or white. No joke.

Answers:
Hell yeah I walked into that store and you're right---Everything is the same exact color! I do like Hollister AE and Aero though.

Other Answers:
of course.. shop at walmart.

yes

yea!

Definitely, but all name brand clothing is. Even the cheapest are most likely way over priced.

You pay for the name, not the quality.

If its there, it doesnt mean you have to buy it. Be more cautious when you buy clothes. Go to places where you can get more for your money and a better quality of clothing too. Shop Kaufmann's, Macy's, Kohl's, Walmart.

Oh heck yeah! Now if you're lucky enough to visit South Korea like a certain person, then all of that high priced stuff comes pretty cheap. But then again, you have to make sure that's it's not a knock off.

WAY over priced! I buy it on e-bay for my son. You can usually get it for 1/2 the price!

if so then your absoultely right shop elsewhere

they are over priced but you are paying for their name not the garment. That 60 hoodie is not better than one you could get from Modells or any sport store for half that price.

Those colors ( along with blue jeans blue) are the only colors real New Yorkers wear on a regular basis so that might be part of that.

Definately! But, If you WANT or need to have that Name brand go to your local Salvation Army and buy it. Lots of people have name brand at yard sales too.

PS) U R buying a name that's ALL

Indeed it is WAAAAAYYYY over priced. You're paying for the name brand, not the quality of clothing. American Eagle and Hollister aren't exactly the best alternatives either. In fact, most retail clothing is entirely over-priced. I've worked in retail management for a couple years and have seen just how much the consumer gets screwed by companies. Most retail clothing is marked up a couple hundred per cent. One example: a pair of shoes my company sold charged roughly $150 for the pair..we paid less than $40 at wholesale cost. That's a mark up of almost 4x..if you aren't buying something that's at LEAST 50% off, don't waste your time or hard earned money.
Capitalism at its finest..

Abercrombie and Fitch is cheap and plain. Try some decent European brands like Helmut Lang, they are expensive and simply gorgeous.

Abercrombie is cheap as hell.

Way overpriced. I live in Northern Minnesota and usually wear Levi's that I've worn so many times that they get holes in them. We went out to Vegas and walked into a A/F and they had jeans there, with holes that had been put on them for 80-100 dollars, even more, if you wanted some with wrinkles. Had I brought my jeans from home I would've been wearing some pretty expensive jeans. Then I got to looking around and the shirts and blouses were coming pre-wrinkled also for 70-80 $ a pop. I can think of cheaper ways to get my clothes wrinkled. I didn't care for the store or the outrageous prices for holes and wrinkles. Boo!

Instead of only going to a particular store, try going to a specialty shop instead that carries name brands from all over.
You will be surprised how many specialty clothing stores cater to the petites. They also have more brand names to choose from and the people will even sometimes special order, just for YOU.

Happy shopping! ~Z~

it is over priced and the quality of the fabric is not of quality! abercrombie is the freaking devil! shop at hollister&co.also, im south korean and stuff there is pretty expensive.unless it was imported from china or another asian country
