FIBROMYALGIA?

Question:

Answers:
Fibromyalgia is a chronic pain illness that has 19 tender points throughout the body. I've had it for years. It tends to strike women more than men. It can be debilatating and some cannot get out of bed. Others can work but it is harder. Definitely have sleep problems and depression brought on from the pain that you deal with daily. Also I have noticed that at times it is worse than others. Colder weather can make things worse. Medications can help with muscle relaxing and pain along with depression. a great way for people to exercise with this is aquatic therapy. it puts no strain on your joints and the water is heated and melts the stress and muscle/joint pain while in the water

Other Answers:
Fibromyalgia is a chronic disorder that causes widespread pain and tenderness in the muscles and soft tissue as well as sleep problems, fatigue, and a variety of other symptoms. These problems can be severe enough to disrupt a person's work and daily activities. Fortunately, the condition does not permanently damage the muscles, joints, or internal organs.
