how do you control the munchies?

lately i've been so hungry i've been eating until i'm all bloated, but I can't help it i've been really really hungry

Answers:
To control the munchies, drink a glass of water instead of grabbing for the snacks. Also, if you're really hungry at dinner, eat until your satisfied & your tummy isn't rumbling any more. You gotta train your stomach to eat less.
The way I control snacking or over eating is by sucking on an ice cube. Yah, I know it's weird, but it works! My mouth gets to do something, it lasts for a while, it feels good on the throat, and it's only water!! Give it a try.

the munchies isnt where you are hungry. The munchies is where you are high and have uncontrollable hunger, so you should probably look for a better word to describe your hungriness.

alot of people will tell you fluids, water pop juice ect. but that is only half correct. take in some sort of bread or cracker product as well. something that will expand as you drink the fluids. that way it fills you up AND you only need to drink half the fluid so you wont be up all night using the restroom excessively. good luck

Make healthier foods more readily available. For example, place the munchies away in places that are harder to reach, or simply DO NOT BUY THEM. Drink more water so you don't feel as hungry. Also, watching TV or sitting down for too long can increase the munchie feeling. Being more active can increase your metabolism and make those munchies go away!

if you are craving something, set your watch for 15 minutes, dieticians say that typical craving last from 8-14 minutes, so just think that when you are done you won't want it any more

Your cravings usually last about 8-15 minutes. If you can just wait until it passes then you should be okay. But a lot of times, people mistake the cravings for hunger when their actually really thirsty. So drink a big glass of water or juice and it should help.

Instead of eating junk food - if that is what you eat, try eating things like fruit, or yogurt, peanut butter, hard boiled eggs - until you feel satisfied, but not necessicarily full.

I have found for myself that if I watch television, many of the commercials are about food - and it drives me crazy.
If you are a big TV watcher - maybe you can start to tape certain shows and then fast forward through the commercials.

When you feel hungry, drink a big glass or bottle of water then see how you feel. Keep some healthy snacks with you (whole-grain crackers, veggies, fruit) to munch on until you have a meal. Try eating a salad at every meal-fiber keeps you feeling fuller longer.

Even though healthy snacking is good for you and in a small portion. You shouldn't munch you way to extreme. Eat more whole wheat products, oatmeal, milk, fruit. They will make you full and least hungry all the time.

are ya pregnant? if not maybe you have a vitamin deficiency and you should go to your doctor. Good foods to fill hunger are broccoli, almonds, protean bars, and anything with protein in it.

Make sure that u don't have any money on u, that way u will not buy junk food , keep a gallon of water with u where ever u r, drink it now . Don't going shopping with out a list of what u need not what u want, keep busy doing something that keeps your mind from thinking food, and remember u don't want 2 look like me .
