The media tries extra hard for us to be fearful. I don't understand either. I liked when we were young and everything was oblivious to us. Let's live like that!

I think fear is great. In the Bible, whenever someone met an angel, they were consumed with fear. There's also an intense fear you get before you go into battle. It's a healthy thing.

because they just want stories nobody wants to hear about life being normal they want to tell everybody what is wrong in todays society, take example of george bush, have you heard a lot of what he did right or how stupid he looks on camera.lol
In defense of the media, they don't intentionally want or desire for their audiences to be in fear. They more or less want us to be aware of the potential dangers that are in the world. Unfortunately, people do think other wise and become frightened and bothered by their reports. Personally, I would want them to tell me what dangers are out there. I wouldn't want to think everything is "hunky dory" only to find out later that things are not.
As far as you saying "why we can't be allowed to live our lives in peace." that won't happen in this life time. We as humans will always face dangers. Whether it is dangers involving other countries; germs; wars; plaques; etc. etc.
Keep believing in your "higher power" whom ever that may be and trust and believe that one day, you will be in a better place. I hope this helped you some what.
the media informs the people whats going on but then tries to make their story's more interesting so they can keep you watching. they should keep the story's more fact but they want to try to get a story out of any story they do
They need stories and they know people will be intrested. When people are instrsed the moneys comes rolling in.
I don't think they try to instill 'fear', I think it just comes along with the information. You are totally allowed to live your life in peace, it's all in how you accept the information. People like to know these things, it makes them 'aware', gives them a chance to plan/ prevent these things from happening to them. Fear just tags along for the ride.
