Hold your nose and hang upside down!

Other Answers:
Drink from the far side of a glass.

Stand on your head for several minutes

take a deep breath and try to blow out through your nose while pinching it (it's also a good trick to pop your ears - maybe thats the reason it works for me casue I forget about the hiccups)

Suck on a LEMON without panties on!
=)

Well, I usually hold take a long drink of water or have somebody freak me out. (I get freaked out easily)

just hold your breath as long as you can

Simple:eat three teaspoons of sugar or Take a deep breath and hold it and try to swallow while holding your breath for as long as you can.I am not kidding, these two things work.Try one or the other.

sniff pepper or a cat or anything that will make you sneeze, a hiccup is air trapped below the diaphragm and a sneeze will dislodge it making the hiccups stop

close ur nose and drink water!

this is going to sound really silly but it works. put one finger in each ear keep them in there for about a minute it does the trick . i had a doctor tell me about this one. good luck

The only way I have found to cure the hiccups is.

Take the deepest breathe possible, bend over at the waste and hold that breathe in as long as possible.

It works for me.

Actually hiccups are involuntary sounds made by spasms of the diaphragm.

The best thing to do is try to relax and be very conscious of your breathing. There are other suggestions for ridding yourself of them at the link below.
