Why is this happening?
Question:
Answers:
Yes, your daughter should go to the dentist but only for a general checkup appointment and cleaning. The baby teeth fall because the permanent teeth push them through the gum, so is just natural for them to come out as the same time your daughter is losing her baby teeth.
Also, when the baby teeth come finally out the root sometimes is missing since the permanent have been pushing it all the time and the pressure cause the baby teeth to be incomplete when it finally falls.
Believe, there's nothing wrong with your daughter as this process in completely normal.
Good luck!

I'm not a dentist, but I am a mom. I can tell you from my own experience that the exact same thing happened with my son. His new permanent teeth began to come in underneath the baby (or first) teeth, which is normal as this process is necessary to push the baby teeth out. I can also tell you that the baby teeth from my son were also very brittle and when they dried in the little container I put them in, they easily broke in half when I picked them up.
It's normal for permanent teeth to start coming in before baby teeth are out. But as far as the baby teeth breaking, it depends on if they break off with the root still in the gum. If this happens see your dentist immediately. Your daughter should have been seeing a dentist already being that she is six. Take her to one now, if you have not already done so.
Consult your doctor
if you can't an emergency help with your dentist.go to the doctor or ER.
The permanent teeth are what actually push the baby teeth out, so yes, that is normal. It's also normal for the baby teeth to be very small with no root structure remaining when they are exfoliated.. this is because the permanent tooth has been pushing against the roots of the baby teeth for a long time and has caused the roots of the baby teeth to resorb.

This happens all the time. It's completley normal. Usually moms and dads bring their little ones in the office to have it looked at. It never hurts to have an exam, if for no other reason than your piece of mind.
