On the other hand, if you live in a society where it may be considered normal, like San Francisco for instance, you may be considered normal. It is more difficult to go against the whole society and make them accept you of what you are. The easy way is to change youself, or the place where you live.

A lot of people in America say it's sick to be gay also, but that certainly hasn't stopped people from coming out. Be who you want to be. If the criticism gets too much, relocate.
