why does my hubby have bruising around his balls after surgery?
i have asked this q before, just about a few hours ago, but i keep trying to understand why his crotch is bruised, just the same color as the bruising on his face..most likely it happened at the same time they did his wisdom teeth removal surgery. why is his crotch bruised and what should i do about it? i told him that on his face that around his balls are bruised the same color and he cant see it and thinks im crazy. do you think im crazy? for one, the dr wouldnt let me in there to see him and for two, they wouldnt tell me what was going on..and i am a severe phobic of the dentis and oral surgeon and this just makes it worse
i wnat to be fat how can i reach my goal?

I am a dentist.
First off, you are paranoid. I never let spouses or parents watch me work on patients, ESPECIALLY when I am peforming surgeries, and for good reason. The lay person seems to think he/she knows almost as much about dentistry as we do, and that he/she can tell when we are doing something wrong. We don't need that nonsense in the operatory. Our job is difficult enough without eyes watching our every move----worse, IGNORANT eyes watching our every move!
If your husband is older, i.e. above 40 or so, the bruising around the face, neck, and even upper chest can occur with oral surgery. As we age, something happens to our fascial planes (I don't know what exactly) that allows blood to travel to sites distant to the surgical site.
As for his bruised balls, was your husband given intraveinous sedation? If so, it is possible that he was struggling which is extremely common when patients are sedated and unaware of what they are doing. It is possible that he hit himself, or crossed his legs too hard, or that the doctor or staff had to pin him down and applied pressure to his pelvis or abdomen, and that distant bruising occurred (remember, bruising occurs when blood vessels are broken from even mild trauma and the ensuing release of free blood into the tissues. this blood is subject to gravity, and will travel down to his crotch).
Maybe your husband is on some sort of medication like Plavix or coumadin that thins his blood and would make a bruise much worse?
Maybe your husband is on chronic steroid therapy, which thins the integument (e.g. skin) and weakens the blood vessels, and makes him more prone to bruising.
Maybe it's a combination of all of the above.
Instead of expressing suspicion because the doctor wouldn't allow you to watch a procedure that no doctor in his right mind would allow you to watch, you should simply call the doctor and ask what happened.
