I'm pretty sure that I'd recieve hate mail from numerous people because of my answer, but hey you asked.
Although I have sympathy from the mentally impaired, I was always depressed because I had the overwhelming feeling that I was part of the mentally impaired population, and hey, let's face it, if a father of five kids who's a history teacher, said that you looked like a 15 year old retard, when you have those exact same feelings, it doesn't make you feel any better. The main reason why I thought that I resembled someone who was mentally impaired was because of my speech disorder. I was eventually diagonosed with depression, and although I am trying to survive without medication (For personal reasons and beliefs.), I have thoughts about suicide, and have tried to commit suicide several times. (As you can see, I didn't get very far.)
Overall, everyone is overwhelmed at one point of their life and always thought suicide is the perfect answer to their problems. Although I am still suicidal, I am trying to take it one day at a time, even though I'm still depressed. But hey, everyone has problems, you just have to deal with them the best way you can.

Yes i've thought about it in the long ago past and attempted a couple of times Thank God my life was spared because though I've had many ups and downs over all there are some things in life I am happy to have never missed. Truly I tell you the pain you may feel today will go away and someday you will look back and wonder why you ever felt the way you did and you will then be a help to someone else just from having thought of it. Please do not attempt to harm yourself in any way for any reason some people and I;m not saying you by any means attempt suicide when they are mad at a loved one and want that person to take notice. they may not want to truly die but just want someone to notice hey I'm in pain here and make the pain go away. the only problem with that is their no guarantee that an attempt no matter how minor it may seem may truly take a life Much Love and prayers from my heart go out to youI think about suicide and I study it and I was there and I lost some friends and now I know why.
