How To Gain Weight?

Answers:
Bipolar disorder can take different forms, but if you are not manic for a week or over 18, that diagnosis does not fit. Ask your school counselor or a trusted teacher what resources they have for free right there at school to help you. If you feel you'd be better off dead, have a plan to commit suicide, or are ready to make an attempt, then call 9-1-1 and a professional will help you.

how can person come to normal weight?

Parents have a hard time with their child on psychiatric medication. You should consult your counselor at school. Maybe they can intervene for you. Another possibility is harmones going rampant. Also I wonder if you explained to your mom that something is wrong and you would like to see a doctor. Your regular physician is all you need with your parent approval.

have dreams sometimes that seem like normal days but I'm wearing diapers. what could these mean?

My mother was bipolar so I have first hand experience at some of the symptoms. The mood swings normally do not "snap at any second" but generally are progressive over a monthly cycle. Generally you will have mood swings from "highs" to "lows" rather than the overall norms that people have.

Usually normal people when they wake up in the morning feel slightly depressed, or slightly in a good mood. The mood can change depending on how well or how bad things go during the day. They can be "cheered" up by having positive experiences through the day, or "have a downer" when they have negative experiences. The feelings however do not allow you to lose control or focus.

Those with manic depression (bipolar) have a chemical imbalance in the brain so that their mood swings too much one way or the other. In their high cycles they can believe they are miracle workers, and perform impossible tasks. In their depressed cycles, they feel worthless incapable of performing anything. Alcoholism can be a side effect especially during the depressive cycles. The moods generally last for two to three days. And during these low or high cycles, there is a total loss of focus on the day to day life activities. People in the "highs" or "lows" do not have any reason why they are in such a good or bad mood, they just feel that way.

This is not a psychological problem, but a physiological problem. Drugs are required to treat the problem along with psychiatric help.

Keeping this in mind, you should discuss this with your family doctor. She/He can refer you to a specialist if you are having problems dealing with your feelings.

I only explain the symptoms of bipolar disorder to help you decide yourself how urgent you feel you need to see a doctor.
