Does anyone have a good way to lose weight fast and i have more then 30 lbs to lose?
Question:
Answers:
I would take the advice of the first two people, but unhealthy ways to lose weight quickly are:
Wrestlers Diet: Drink lots of orange juice, and only eat one small meal a day, like a sandwich and an apple.
Starvation: Although I have been told this actually causes the body to store fat because it thinks you are dying.
Anorexia: Probably the most dangerous and quickest way to lose weight. People eat mostly what they want, and very soon after, vomit it back up, so the body never has a chance to process your food.
*all of these techniques are dangerous, and Im sure any doctor would be mad at me for even offering these options, but I think it is your right to know whats out there. Good Luck!

There's no GOOD/healthy way to lose that amount of weight fast. What you need to do to lose the weight AND maintain the loss is to alter your life style. This would be the inclusion of additional exercise and a reduction in the amount of 'garbage' calories that you put into your body -- no potato chips, less ice cream, less cake, less cookies.
To lose the weight and keep it off, do it slowly. If you do it fast you're almost guaranteed to put it back on.
You may not want to hear it, but the only way to lose weight safely and for good is to exercise and eat sensibly. There are no quick fixes.
Cut all the carbs out of your diet. My friend did this before getting in the army and he lose 80 lbs in two months i think.
Don't use pills or starve yourself. Pills harm your body and not eating teaches your body it has to store EVERYTHING you eat, so it becomes even harder to lose weight later.
The one diet I have seen people lose this kind of weight on consistently is Atkins. It really works. You don't have to eat less, just change the foods you eat. And NO, Atkins is NOT an all protein diet like some people say. Get the book from the library and read the chapter about the induction diet. That will get you through the first 2 weeks, and should let you lose 10 pounds or more.
After that, read the part on the maintenence diet so you can learn how to adjust your diet so you have more freedom about what you eat, but keep the weight off. This is the mistake most people make. They don't read it.
Remember, if you change your diet, and lose weight, and then change your diet back to what it was originally. your weight will go back to what it was originally too. A diet is a lifestyle change, not a "cure".
I know you can do it!
Hello,
Well, one humanly thing to do is just listen to your instincts. Eat what you want only when you're hungry. Never overeat. And cut out the soda, if you drink it, because it only makes you gain weight. DO NOT DO ANY DANGEROUS "TECHNIQUE". Oh u might want to include green tea in your your diet.
I started my diet the 2nd week of January and I have already lost 16 pounds..I've learned over the years that losing weight fast is not a good thing..you just gain it back and then some, For breakfast I eat a bowl of instant grits or oatmeal (one packet is less than 120 calories but no butter! and no sugar on the oatmeal get the flavored kind) about 2 hours later I have a apple cinnamon rice cake with a little peanut butter spread on it, (about 60 calories) for lunch I eat a bowl of Campbell chunky soup, they have tons of different kinds,(but try to get the ones with the lowest amount of sodium) and most of them are under 150 calories, and then after work I hit the gym 4 days a week and work out for an hour to an hour and a half doing cardio, I mainly do the elliptical machine for a good 30-45 minutes and then the bikes, but the most important thing I can stress is I cut out all SODA!! I was addicted to Coke ( the cola kind) and used to drink at least 4 to 5 cans a day, I cut that all out and now only drink water. After the gym I eat steamed brocoli with a little parmesan cheese and black pepper sprinkled on it (not as bad as it sounds). And 2 to 3 times a week I try to eat steamed fish or chicken or tuna in a bag. Thats basically been my diet for almost a month now, and I also notice I've lost some inches off my waist and hips. I dont want to give anyone tips on losing weight that could be harmful to someone, but a couple of years ago I lost about 27lbs in 1 month by only eating brown rice and water. I did this for about 3 months and lost a total of 68 pounds in 2 and half months it was horrible and at the end I end up making myself and ended up gaining it all back and then some about a year later. If you want to lose 30lbs and keep it off do it the smart way, plenty of water, excersise, and burn more calories than what you eat!
I lost 80 pounds in three months about 6 years ago. My secret was diet and exercise. You have to be hardcore though. When exercising make sure you do both weight lifting and cardio. Diet is just as important. Look at food as fuel to power your workouts. No more and no less. Also, you can't guage your progress by stepping on the scale. Gauge your success by when your clothes start feeling loose. Good luck!

WHAT to eat for losing weight
• Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, especially NC (negative calorie) food.
* Print these lists. They will be your . "Bible", from now on !
* Dill and parsely - include them in all your salads. Also ognion + garlic.
* Try eat mostly fresh vegs & fruits (whenever possible, of course)
* If you really want a book, then check this out: The Negative Calorie Diet Workbook & Cookbook - eBook (Win95/98 only). Read more about this e-book here.
• Eat fish, chicken, beef, pork. (preferences are in this order)
* If you are a vegetarian, then ignore this!
* Avoid fat meat
• Eat 2-3 slices of bread/day. Don't EVER exclude bread from your diet!
• Snacks between meals (if needed): apples, oranges, grepfruits and other NC fruits
* Don't cheat . NO cookies, chips, candies, brownies etc!
* EVEN if they have "low fat" indication. They might have low fat, yet they can have lots of CALORIES !
• About rice, potatoes, beans, [xxx]nuts, pastry, pasta. you know!
* Don't eat too much of those, at least during the first weeks of the diet. I'm not a low carb addict, but I've noticed weight gains if consuming those in large quantities, especially when associated with other foods.
* If you like them a lot, try and eat them like one meal. A nice delicious plate of spaghetti could be your lunch (never dinner!), followed by a nice big apple. These rich starch foods are not good for dinner!
* At dinner time, chose mainly large mixed veggies salads. with fish, lean meat or cheese (if you are not a vegetarian).
if u want to lose weight the best food to it are baked potatoes with nothing on it. no salt no nothing just plain. u can eat a 10000000000 baked potatoes till ur stuff and not gain a pound. i heard that from a weight loss tape. the best drink is water or gatorade. thats a start then when you work out do some taeboo. if u want a macine. run with dumbells on a treadmill. u could do the rocky workout. but thats a new story. u could use a butterfly macine i think it works the abs
1) It is not just the amount you eat, but what you eat. Lean meats and vegtables that snap are a good place to start. And by snap I mean fresh and not boiled or doused with better or whatever.
2) Exercise moderatly but for about an hour every other day. Spend half of that walking or running at a good enough pace for you to feel labored. The other half of the time use weights, or exercises such as push ups or situps to get a muscle "burn". A gym is also an option, but I don't know if you have the money for or want to spend the money on it.
3) Sleep well. To bed earlier and up earlier. Exercise in the morning when you wake up, not in the evening before bed. 7 hours of GOOD sleep is a must.
4) Occupy yourself with a hobby that keeps your attention for a long period of time. A hobby like this keeps your mind focused and gives less of a chance for snacking from boredom.
That is a good place to start. if you see good results, keep it up and modify to fit you. if it does not, see a doctor AND a trainer
Keep working out, drink water a lot, eat 5 to 6 meals a day but in small quantities, vegtables are important specially cucumber and lattice, fruits not be eaten after meals except by 2 to 3 hours, minimize the starch quantities in your meals lots of salad is important, your last meal must be before you sleep by 2 to 3 hours
the most important thing is you don't lose patient wait and have a strong will to be as what you want
you might have some more ideas from www.ivillage.com
good luck
