it is best to wait about a year after you have your first, it is more healthy for you. And if you have a baby before then, it is not all that bad, you just might go crazy!! In my opinion, the best time to have a second baby, is when the first one is out of diapers!

2 years sounds pretty good to me.

When ever you, and the rest of your family (spouce, kid, ect.) are ready to suport another kid and to take care of one.

the general consensus is about 2 years as this gives your body time to recover. my mate has three kids oldest is 3 in september middle is one and a half and youngest is 6 months. because they're so close together she finds they get on really well and there is no jealousy because they were too young to remember being an only child etc.

Hard to say. You want to have them close together so they can relate to one another but then they will be toddlers at the same time and that is a pain. I would say start trying to have the new baby when they first one is about a year old.

Four years will let you get one thru college before the other one starts. It will also give you enough time to the first one so there are no hard feelings towards the second. Remember those precious times you spend with your child in those early years lay the foundation for the rest of their life. So many people pump out kids quickly and end up not giving enough to any of them. Think of the future not the present.

i do not think you should have a baby right after the other one cause that would be to much work. I think you should what until the first baby is about 3,4,or5 to have another one.

Two years is a good gap, that way you can be on the way to having the first one potty trained before the second one arrives.

For health reasons, they say that you should wait 18 months before getting pregnant again. I have three children.4 years between the first two and only 16 months between the second two. Personally, I think 4 years is too much.the two fight over toys because the younger one thinks he can do whatever the older one can. 16 months is pretty close.I was going crazy the first year. I would say 2-2&1/2 years as the ideal space between kids. BUT---no one can tell you what you can handle, so when you feel ready, go for it! (as long as you are healthy). Good luck!

Well, I had my last two.the first in Aug 02, second child was born in Nov 03.that's a little too close cause boy do I have my hands full. They were both c-sections.
