I need a diet and exercise routine that works.?
I am a very busy person, eat out alot and don't have much time. Can anyone suggest a diet plan that has worked for them?

No diet is the best diet.
Just eat (smaller) healthier meals (5- 6 per day)
Drink water during the day, orange juice or fruit juice with all meals. (helps to absorb iron in meals and vitamin c) drink green tea or coffee or substitute drink with low fat or skinny milk. (Canned fruit in natural juice is best)
Breakfast; 1 piece of fresh fruit or cereal with skinny or low fat milk.
Morning tea; 1 piece of fresh or canned fruit or biscuit with low fat cheese, or low fat no added sugar yogurt.
Lunch; 1 sandwich or plate of soup or salad with meat or chicken or fish,
Afternoon tea; the same as morning tea.
Dinner; meat, or fish or chicken with salad or vegetables or both.
Supper; If you are a poor sleeper or not very over weight. porridge; low fat cereal, yogurt or hot chocolate milk (all of these are relaxing and light on your stomach in the evening) Other wise try to eat your last main meal early (5.30 - 7pm) or only eat supper on days you have been working really hard or missed a meal during the day.
If you want to loose weight quickly; stick to regular small meals at regular times each day and you will go to the toilet regularly. Increase your daily exercise to walking, swimming, bike riding or whatever you like to increase your heart rate for at least 20 - 40 minutes straight.
Only you would know what is right.
It is more about being healthy and looking good than being a certain weight.

fatigue can make u loose weight , so get urself more tired.I bought the calculator and books from weightwatchers.com. I attended no meetings or anything like that. I walked for 30 minutes a day with my husband and my girls. I lost 114 pounds and have kept it off for a year and a half, including through a pregnancy. I don't follow the program anymore because I learned how to listen to my internal cues.
If you need some structure, that will do it for a busy person. The key is to eat less and do more.
And for crying in the corn, do NOT eliminate carbs from your diet, unless you'd like no energy, terrible constipation, and you'd like to have to relearn how to eat regular foods when you lose the weight. Been there, done that, and gained it all back that time around.

if you eat out a lot, choose foods that are healthier than fried foods. Choose fruits, salads, vegetables, etc. and try and distinguish when you are full. It is very difficult to maintain a diet when you eat out a lot. I have read that you sigh when you are full. Try and listen to this and do not overeat if at all possible. In today's society, it's extremely easy to overeat, even if you still feel hungry. Portion sizes are enough for roughly 2 people in most restaurants and that's another tip: share if at all possible. Drink lots of water and cut back on pop and tea as the caffiene will not benefit your diet. The best diet out there is eating less and exercising more but this may not always be possible. Do what you can, and if you are aware of what you are eating, you will be more apt to not overeat if you go out.Source(s):

You must convince yourself that getting into the shape you want is going to take time, lots of time. It is also going to take discipline.
