Why is Marijuana illegal?

I'm 5'7 and I weigh 132lbs. I used to weigh 94 lbs! please help me.?

Answers:
Pot is illegal because the War on Drugs is a cash cow for the government. And it also keeps undesirables - minorities, the poor, criminals - under control. It is a lot easier to bust a black kid with pot on him and get him convicted than a white kid. It's all part of the hate machine that our government's becoming.
Hey Figato - go ask your kids for a joint, smoke it, and chill the heck out man.

do you remember these?

I was just stuck with the needle from a palm tree. Should I be worried?

Because we need fewer stoned people in society.

Look at the pathetic state of public education.
Look at how little personal responsibility people have (unwanted pregnancies, stds, child neglect etc.)
Try to get a straight answer when you call "customer service"
Try to get correct change the next time you shop at the mall.
Try to get your car fixed without bringing it back three times.

Would it really help society if all of these people were stoned? I don't think so.

There is no constitutional right to be able to obtain whatever recreational chemicals you want, just as there is no constitutional right to drive.

There is, however a constitutional right to bear arms. Anyone who cares about freedom should be asking why there are so many laws against that.
