They were in hell while they were alive, either real or imagined. however, by committing suicide they put those around them especially those who love them through hell on earth because of the guilty of not knowing for sure why they killed themselves. it sounds like you may be experiencing this type of hell right now. remember you can't change the past only the future don't let their pain continue to hurt you after they have left.

That's a tough one. I do believe that we have a very forgiving God, however, suicide, according to the Bible is a sure way to Hell. So, yes with reference to the Bible I would believe that one who commits suicide will go to Hell. After all, after someone has committed suicide they will no longer be able to pray and ask for forgiveness.Hey why would anyone suicide, it is a tool of the weak hearted. Wake up, stand up, build yourself again, and see the world give you another chance. Dont think about suicide. I was taught in church growing up that yes, committing suicide goes against the Bible and you will go to Hell for that. It was that knowledge alone that kept me from ever trying to commit suicide as a young teenager (I used to be very depressed -- it is genetic in my family). Now that I am grown and trying to figure out what I believe on my own and not just what I was taught, I struggle with this one. A part of me still holds onto the belief I was taught about going to Hell b/c it is such a sin against God b/c he says to treat your body as a temple. But what if one said "God, please forgive me for what I am about to do, I love you and want to spend eternity with you, I cannot go on here on earth, please forgive me and accept me into your kingdom?" Then what? I believe God would forgive and accept that person under those circumstances. Any other thoughts on this?what is your opinion on blood electrification?
I don't believe in Hell. But you do, so here's what I think.God will have to be pretty ignorant to judge a person's entire life based on a single incident. Suicide may be a sin but does it warrant a punishment for eternity? What if a person has been helping others lead a better life every day of his existence but feels miserable and commits suicide? Would he be sent to hell? I have faith in God's judgement. I can't trust organised religions to tell me His intentions.

According to the bible life is the greatest gift from God, so if you commit suicide there is no way to repent for this sin. You most certainly will go to hell. Tht is why it is so important to understand how important life is, and if you know someone who is suicidal, try to talk to them and have them see/talk to a counselor or a pastor
