ABSOLUTE LIE. Sugar,honey,glucose,are good CULTURE MEDIA for most bacterial and viral infections.So the wound gets infected easily and never heals.Who are the quacks who keep telling sugar,honey fruits are good for wounds.?

Honey works better than actual sugar. It keeps all the bacteria out, and does a couple of other things too (that I can't explain because I don't really know).

I've seen them use it (at the nursing home where I work) on a couple of really deep, severe bedsores and it's worked where nothing else would.

Hmm.Certain types of sugar yes but cane sugar probably not. Fruit sugars which are naturally high in nutrients help heal wounds faster. But to be sure give yourself a gash and pour different sugar concentrates on it. Haha just kidding.

Yes sugar actually does heal wounds! My oldest son had a wart on his and went to have it cut out and it left a nasty deep hole in his hand and the doctor said to mix sugar and beta dine pack the sore and keep a bandage on it , about three weeks later it was all healed with new skin. Apparently Sami has no idea what he is talking about, because it is absolute TRUTH!
