what are some of the long term effects of removeing a brain tumor?
Answers:
That depends upon where in the brain the tumor is located. In some places in the brain, the effects are relatively minor, but in others, there can be major sequelae like paralysis, speech problems, sensory loss or distortion, etc. But NOT removing a tumor isn't usually an option, because anything that grows inside the brain abnormally will increase the pressure inside the head and produce problems that can lead to the brain being essentially squeezed out of its normal place & result in death.
