When should i start my period on birth control?
Question:
Answers:
If you are refering to ortho, your period will start around the first to third day of the "fake" pill week. But don't worry if it's not exact.just take your pills like you are suppose to and it will begin to develop a system on its own and most likely become regular each month. If this doesn't happen, you may need to talk with your doctor as to whether or not you are on the best type that works for you.
Other Answers:
You should start on your last week of pills (the placebos). Everybody is different though so if you have concerns, ask your doctor. That's what they are there for.
your period should start the week of the sugar pills. it is also normal to miss a period on the pill depending on what kind of pill. if it is a low hormone dose pill it is very common. if you don't get a period by the 2nd month see your doc. but ive been on birth control a long time and have always started about two to three days into the sugar pills
Typically, your period will begin on the day of the third placebo pill. Information about this should be in the information packet that comes with your pill packet.
