How can I disinfect surfaces against fungus?

Question:
I recently got athlete's foot. I think it's either the used treadmill or weigh scale I bought. How do I disinfect these surfaces & my bathtub so I don't reinfect myself again? What's the best cleaner? Bleach? Lysol? Vinegar? Soap & water?

Answers:
Yeah, chlorox bleach is very good. Also ultraviolet light, like sunlight. If you just put the object out in the sun for an afternoon, that will do it. They have ultraviolet lights in some motels to turn on for a while and disinfect the bathrooms. Hanging clothes out in sun is very good.

Athlete's foot's caused by a fungus on the outer layer (epidermis) of skin. The best thing I've used is a pumice stone in the shower, and it feels good too! Also, there's a more effective one but it looks gross. It looks like a hand-held cheese grater or something.
A few home remedies for an existing problem:

-soak feet in apple cider vinegar, then soak some cotton balls, put between toes and wear socks before bed.

-apply fresh lemon juice an allow to dry, repeat several times a day

-soak feet in sea salt every day until you see improvement

As for disinfecting the surface, any alcohol based cleaner, probably, will work. I'd go for lysol or bleach-or the brand named "fantastic" cleaner.

Dont use toxic chemicals, try Grapefruit seed extract:
