From an article I read they say it's a "floater". It is indicative of a high-fibre intake. Yep, I know it sounds gross.

Oprah says that if poop floats its healthy!

(?) All Poop is good! What happens when you don't, that will be a problem.

Is this really a sign of good health?

Why does some poop float?
Floaters are turds that have an unusually high gas content. Sometimes the gases produced by bacteria in our gut don't have a chance to collect into a large fart bubble, but remain dispersed in the feces. The poop then comes out foamy, and has a lower density than water. Poop with a high fat content will also float.

I asked my doctor if it was supposed to float, and he said it depends on what you eat. I think as long as it is not to runny, or hard, you are doing good. Just eat a balanced diet/fiber and you should be set. Just make sure the ends are tapered, this is important. Do you know why poop is tapered on the ends?.To keep your butt hole from slamming shut.

Healthy poop should float,it shouldn't stink,it should be soft and fluffy, and it should leave your body in a few seconds. It should break into small pieces when you flush the commode. You can achieve this by eating a lot of fiber and drinking a lot of liquids.<

Poops vary by your diet. If suddenly the consistancy or color changes for more than one poop, you might want to check with your doctor--they actually will test the poop (been there, done that). If your poop is always a certain way, that's the way for you.
What a topic, huh?
