are there any treatments for haveing a brain toumor?

Question:

Answers:
There are so many! There are medications, radiation, chemo, removal.all kinds. it depends on the size, placement and the kind of tumor. If you have a tumor, you really need to speak to someone in the medical field. Write all your questions down and take them into a neurologist. If you have a tumor, you can survive. My girlfriend's son had a tomato sized tumor removed and he is on the dean's list at college eight years later with no trace of anything at all on his brain. Best of luck to you and hang in there!

Other Answers:
surgery, chemotherapy, go to a specialist!

Sometimes they are 'operable' which means they can try to operate and take them out. Sometimes they are 'inoperable' which means they can't be taken out. If it's cancerous in the brain it's a very bad prognosis (people usually die relatively quickly). If it's a benign tumor it may cause things like headaches. I'm no expert this is just what i know.

Take it out!

Yes, it is not always a death sentence.I know of a woman who survived and is find today.Good Luck :)

Do not try anything you read here..go see your doctor.

yes. if you go on www.ask.com you putin the search box brain tumors and you can find them.

Beside surgery, a hospital in New Orleans is advertising that they can do non-invasive brain surgery on tumors which in the past are inoperable.I think the ad says that it is a laser device that is very selective and zaps cancer cells only, and leave everything that is healthy alone.

smoke alot of weed, maybe it will shrink it, it works to shrink brain cells,,,,, talk to your doc first, but if it were me and it was a death sentence already I would smoke alot of pot and eat alot of tomatoes, and banana, and spinich.. by the way I dont do drugs, say no to drugs, but if this were the case,,, smoke up

surgery.sorry to hear about that:(

Jesus. Hey, if Lazurus can be dead for 4 days and brought back to life. a tumor should be no problem. I actually know a woman who was healed of several brain tumors. The symptoms left her and the next time she went to the doctor. the tumors were gone.
