What's the best time of day to workout?

Question:
or does it really matter what time of the day you do your workout?

Answers:
whatever works best for you. you exercise when you can. exercise at any time is better than no exercise at all.

and actually, according to 24 hour fitness, late afternoon is when your body temperature is at it's peak. That means "muscles are warm and more flexible, perceived exertion is low, reaction time is quicker, strength is at its peak, and resting heart rate and blood pressure are low."

FRESH MORNINGS

First thing in the morning, gets your metabolism going faster all day.

There is no "best" time. However, there are best times to eat, and all of them are EARLY. You should try not to consume anything for at least 3 hours before you go to sleep.

mornings

I think it is what ever time works best for you. Morning works good for me. I think it is a mind set thing.

morning

i just go to the gym at the time of day I can fit in.also when I feel the most energetic so I know I'll complete my work out! :}

Any time is a good time, but fresh mornings are best. It's like a soul breath of air.

It's hard to get up early in the morning, but believe me, it's the best time to work out. It's more efficient cause you have more energy, and you'll have more energy throughout the day ^_^

It doesn't matters what is the best time of day to workout. As long as you have a free time.

WEN EveR U Wana.

I agree first thing in the morning.gets you up and going and ready to face a long day head on

I've found that if I go to the gym early, I sleep better than if I go to the gym late at night. I feel so tired after the gym at 6 PM. It's so much better at 10 AM or so.

I am definitely a morning person. 5-6 days a week, very vigorously. It really makes for a much better day afterwards once I have gotton "all sweated out".
