can you dye hair that has been dyed black?
i dyed my hair black a while back and tried dying it a month later. the color definitely showed on my roots but the rest of hair was still black. it's been a couple of months now, i'm wondering if i can dye my hair another color now since most of the black has faded already. someone please help!

If 80% of your hair is Black , you will need to get the black removed, by a prof. do not try bleaching it, We have a chemical that removes the color, not a reguar bleach. after the process, your hair should have a hot oil treatment to get your hair in shape for your new color..

I suggest you go to a hair specialists that deals with color on a daily basis. Color CAN be removed, but there is a serious risk of damaging and ruining the hair without the correct managment.do i have to get vaccinated when traveling to china?

Yeah, but you have to strip your hair of the colr first. What that means is that u have to slowly take the dark out before you can put the lighter color in. First you need to do a color erase. Color does not remove color. Even a color erase may not take black out but it will be lighter. What color are you naturally and what color would you like to be? I would recomend coloring your roots one half shade lighter than your ends and do not pull it through to your ends. Every time you recolor your ends should fade. Thus eventually getting you lighter. If you color your roots to much lighter than what your ends you will end up with a band. Also, you could try pulling your hair through a cap and going with some blond highlights. yes u can but it most u will have to strip it first. I would go to a hair salon though u could mess it up so bad your hair falls out. U will need a good conditioner alsoWhen people tell you to get your hair "stripped" beware!! That is basically the same thing as bleach. You will probably have to get a professional to do something called a "soap cap" or bleach cap. They will lift a level or 2 and then apply a color or highlights or whatever is necessary. This is going to be costly by the way. I just did this process on a woman for 150 dollars. Not to mention her hair cut too. The reason black is so hard to get out is obviously because it is the darkest level you can go in hair color, but also because you can't lift color with color. (that is why you need to see a stylist.) The reason your newgrowth changed colors is because that is new hair. It is your natural color. It can take color and be lifted or darkened, unlike the black.
