My ring is stuck on my finger, I need to get it off?

Question:
Hey my ring is stuck, I know of cold water and soap, any better ideas?

Answers:
Take a nice long hot bath. Soak your hand in the water. Skin shrivels when it's soaking in hot water. The soaking alone should help it come off easily. In case it still hangs up on the knuckle a little liquid soap will allow it to slide off the rest of the way.

If that doesn't work, visit your doctor to have the ring cut off. You can get it repaired and re-sized at a jeweler later.

If the liquid soap and water doesn't work, I have had to use cooking oil. If it's fluid, take a fluid pill. If all those things don't work, you may want to consider the blade before it gets any tighter.

Seriously, try licking your finger around where the ring is. Wiggle the ring around to get your saliva under the ring. Try pulling it off now.

If that doesn't work.oil's slippery ^_^; try it. Tell us how it goes

I've also heard butter helps. Can't say that would be better than soap and cold water, as I've never tried it. Soap and water has usually been what's worked for me. Hope you get the ring off. I know for a fact that it can hurt if it gets tight enough and starts cutting off your circulation.

I have worked in the jewelry dept for 3 years at Wal-Mart.
Pull on the skin before the knuckle towards the tip of your finger and push on the ring. Rings get stuck because it bunches up the excess skin blocking it.

put a piece of yarn around it needs to be long enough to be wrapped up around your finger, then start wrapping the yarn around starting from the bottom up this actually is squeezing the swelling up the finger therefore you start working the ring off the finger.painful somewhat but got the rings off.
